The Role
Wake The Tiger is looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Assistant to join our growing in-house commercial team. Reporting into the Marketing Manager, you’ll help deliver bold and effective campaigns that grow awareness, drive ticket sales, and strengthen our community across Bristol and our new London site (opening late 2026).
This is a dynamic, hands-on role that spans campaign coordination, social media, email marketing, and analytics. You don’t need to be an expert in these areas, but a willingness to learn and a can-do attitude is a must. You’ll be an essential part of bringing Wake The Tiger’s brand story to life - helping to inspire audiences, support key partnerships, and ensure our marketing activity runs smoothly from concept to completion.
You Will be Responsible For:
- Supporting the planning, delivery, and reporting of marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to execute campaigns and strategies, ensuring assets are delivered on time and to brief.
- Coordinating timelines, assets, and deliverables between internal teams and external partners.
- Scheduling and publishing content across digital platforms, including social media, email, paid media, and the website.
- Writing engaging, on-brand copy for social media, email campaigns, and website updates, adapting tone and messaging for different audiences while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Monitoring social media accounts and managing engagement to ensure our community feels valued, inspired, and connected to the brand.
- Supporting our Content Creators with ideas, organisation, and campaign coordination when needed.
- Contributing fresh, creative ideas during campaign brainstorms and content planning sessions.
- Assisting with the planning and coordination of photoshoots, on-site marketing activations, and events such as Freshers’ Fairs.
- Supporting PR, influencer, and partnership outreach campaigns.
- Representing the marketing team at events and networking opportunities when required.
- Creating and delivering the monthly internal newsletter to keep the wider team informed and engaged.
- Ensuring high standards of copywriting and brand consistency across all marketing channels.
You’ll Bring the Following to Our Team:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for engaging, on-brand marketing copy.
- Confidence collaborating with cross-functional teams, including creative, content, partnerships, and external agencies.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines across campaigns and channels.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a willingness to take initiative when bringing ideas to life.
- Curiosity about marketing trends, social media, and audience behaviour, with enthusiasm for contributing creative ideas.
- Alignment with our values of Inspire, Disrupt and Believe.
