Preparing for your visit
FOOD & DRINK
We have a dedicated lunch area for school packed lunches (subject to availability, email info@wakethetiger.com) and only food & drink purchased in the Café may be consumed there (other than baby food or for medical reasons). For the warmer months, Sparke Evans Park is just across the road from Wake The Tiger that can be used for picnics.

FAQS
Home Education Groups are welcome!
We ask that you bring one of the following as proof of your child’s home
education status. This helps us apply educational rates correctly and ensures we
can plan your visit safely and smoothly:
- A copy of your de-schooling letter
- A letter on headed paper by your child’s previous school confirming they have been deregistered
- A headed appointment letter from your local authority’s Home Education Officer or Home Education Assessor

If you cannot provide any of these but Home Educate, please contact bristol@wakethetiger.com.
Yes, the car park is operated by Euro Car Parks and is chargeable for a minimum of 3 hours using a pay-on-exit system.
We have a small onsite car park operated by Euro Car Parks. There may be
space here for the coach to park and stay through your trip. There is alternative
parking at the Fruit Market on Albert Crescent (just a 10 minute walk-away) for
£5.00.
While we provide learning resources online which you’re welcome to print out
and bring with you and discuss with your students, we don’t provide them for
you on your visit. You can find our learning resources here.
We do not have a dedicated area for students to eat their packed lunch. We have
a cafe onsite run by Double Puc and it’s up to their discretion whether you can
eat a packed lunch in the cafe. Normally on a weekday during term time this
will be fine as it’s quiet, we just ask that you email in if you’re wanting to eat in
the cafe with the rough number of students who will be expected so we can
forward this to the cafe team.
We also have a conference room that can be used if it’s available for children to
eat their lunch in. If you’re interested in using this please email
bristol@wakethetiger.com so we can check the availability.
Later this summer we have an outdoor space opening with wooden benches
which we are going to use as a picnic area, so you may be directed to eat there
rather than inside.
We do not have a cloakroom, however we have a small storage space at the Box
Office that can be accessed at the beginning and end of your visit as this will be
locked (if there’s anything important you need make sure you have it on you).
We also have a Conference Room that can be used to leave bags and to eat
lunch in, however this depends on availability on our end. If you would like to
enquire about using the conference room please email
bristol@wakethetiger.com.
No. Children must be supervised and accompanied by an adult at all times. If
you can’t find a child let a member of staff know. If a member of staff finds
unsupervised children they will find the responsible adults and reunite them.
While it’s up to you how many staff you bring we recommend a ratio of 6
children to 1 member of staff. We offer one free adult ticket per 6 children
booked. Children must be supervised at all times.
Please familiarise yourself and the group with the rules below. These are also in
Box Office and you will be asked to read through them before heading in.
- Please eat and drink your food outside of the experience.
- Please walk and take your time to explore.
- Be gentle with our world.
- Be mindful of other visitors.
- Be aware of flashing light effects.
- No smoking or vaping.
- Adults must accompany children at all times.
- If you need assistance please speak to a member of staff.
No. The Park will still be open to the public during your visit. We ask that you
respect our other visitors and their experiences while making your way around.
You can plan to bring as many students as you want to Wake the Tiger. Please
note that we can only accommodate 75 people per time slot, so if your group is
bigger than this we would have to stagger your entry.
