THE ROLE
We are looking for an exceptional Graphic Design Lead to support the development and delivery of the visual graphic language for Wake the Tiger London. This role is creatively led, with a strong practical approach to large-scale content production across a complex, immersive environment. The Graphic Design Lead will work closely with the Content Producer and Creative Directors to help develop the approach, structure and systems for how graphic design is used across the attraction. They will be responsible for designing and delivering graphic content, while also providing guidance and support to other designers and artists contributing to the experience. This is a hands-on role that combines creative authorship with practical production leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative & Visual Development
● Contribute to the development of the overall graphic design approach for the experience
● Help define and maintain a consistent graphic language across the whole visitor journey
● Support the creation of individual visual identities for each district
● Ensure graphic content supports both narrative and world-building
Hands-on Graphic Design
● Design and deliver a significant portion of the graphic content yourself
● Take ownership of complex, high-impact, or design-critical assets
● Develop templates, systems and guidelines to support large-scale rollout
● Prepare final artwork for print, fabrication and install
Production & Collaboration
● Work closely with the Content Producer to plan, prioritise and phase graphic delivery
● Work with the Content Producer to ensure graphic assets are correctly documented, versioned and ready for handover
● Provide guidance and feedback to junior designers, freelancers and specialist artists
● Adapt designs based on build, install and in-situ testing realities
● Oversee the installation of all assets in conjunction with the Art Department
Cross-Discipline Support
● Work collaboratively within the Content Department, as well as with the District Leads and the Rooms & Installations Producers
● Ensure shared assets (e.g. characters, world iconography) are used consistently
● Respond practically to late-stage changes without compromising overall quality
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Essential:
● Strong background in graphic design with hands-on production experience
● Experience delivering high volumes of work across complex projects
● Comfortable balancing creative ambition with practical constraints
