ROLE: 

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Dresser to support the delivery of set dressing across 20+ immersive, themed rooms for our London location.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role working directly under the Lead Dresser to help bring environments to life. You will assist in physically dressing spaces that guests explore, ensuring each room is visually rich, cohesive, and fully realised. The ideal candidate is organised, practical, and passionate about immersive storytelling, with a willingness to work collaboratively during intensive build periods.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Set Dressing & Installation Support

• Assist in the physical dressing of immersive environments, ensuring spaces are styled and finished to a high standard.
• Follow dressing plans, references, and direction from the Lead Dresser and Rooms Art Director, Assistant Rooms Art Director
• Prepare, move, and install dressing items, props, and scenic elements across multiple rooms.
• Maintain attention to detail in guest-facing, close-up environments.
• Support the smooth execution of installs across tight production schedules.

Props & Materials Handling

• Assist with organising, tracking, and maintaining props, dressing items, and tools.
• Ensure props are placed safely and securely for guest interaction and repeated use.
• Help with replacements, repairs, and general upkeep of dressing elements.
• Flag any damage, safety concerns, or missing items to the Lead Dresser.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the Lead Dresser and wider dressing team to complete daily tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with construction, scenic, props, and technical teams to support installation progress.
• Take direction clearly and adapt quickly to changing priorities on site.

On-Site Support & Problem Solving

• Assist with on-site problem solving during installs, adapting to build conditions and constraints.
• Support the team in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Follow health & safety guidelines, particularly in guest-facing and high-traffic areas.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

• Experience in theatre, live events, immersive environments, film/TV, or similar hands-on creative roles.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual composition.
• Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work efficiently on site.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Awareness of basic health & safety practices.

Desirable

• Experience in immersive attractions, escape rooms, or themed environments.
• Basic knowledge of props, scenic finishes, or set construction.
• Interest in storytelling through space and audience experience.
• Scenic experience 
• Carpentry experience 
• Prop making experience
