School Visits

We love to invite school & home ed groups of all ages to step through the portal. There are no limitations to the size of group, other than we allow up to 70 people into the experience per 30 minutes to manage the flow effectively, so if your party is larger than this we would have to stagger your entry.

We offer a number of free places for teachers. For SEN school groups the ratio is on a case-by-case basis. See the ratio split below. This applies to both school and home ed groups.

  • 1 free teacher ticket per 10 adult (aged 13+) tickets purchased
  • 1 free teacher ticket per 8 child (aged 5-12) tickets purchased
  • 1 free teacher ticket per 3 under 5 years old tickets purchased

We have created a risk assessment of Wake The Tiger for schools and groups. Additionally we welcome one person free of charge to visit ahead of the group booking if they need to complete their own risk assessment. Please just contact us to arrange this.

We also offer a school group information page which can be read and circulated ahead of your arrival so that everyone can have an enjoyable and safe visit.

We require a 50% deposit to secure the booking and the remainder to be paid one week before arrival. You can either pay via a secure payment link via text or by bank transfer. No refunds can be given and we require a minimum of 48 hours notice to amend the date and/or time of the booking.

Food & Drink

You finish the experience by entering The Guildhall Café Bar, offering a wonderful range of fresh, homemade & seasonal vegetarian and vegan food, plus we have a daily specials board too! We are happy to receive a pre-order for ease and require this one week before arrival.

Unfortunately we do not allow packed lunches to be consumed and only food and drink purchased in The Guildhall may be consumed on-site, other than baby food or for medical reasons.
