What others say

"I have never been to anywhere quite like Wake the Tiger! Whether you're an adult or child, this experience encourages your inquisitive side to leap right out of its comfort zone and push that button, pick up that phone or open that cupboard door unexpectedly taking you into another world. You can walk, scramble, slide or climb into, and onto things. You can make things shift shape and change colour. You can be upside down and in a dream. But who is snoring in the bed? Oh, and keep your eyes open for the mushrooms!"

"Wow, in fact double Wow, what an amazing place. We took our 2 1/2 year old grandaughter there today and we were a bit worried it would be too old for her. We were so wrong, she loved it (So did we). Not only was the place amazing with lots to explore and surprises to find, but all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you to all the staff."

Do you accept cash?

We have a small amount of cash, however we are asking visitors to use card wherever possible, including at the gift shop and café bar.

Do you allow dogs?

The nearest toilet area for assistance dogs is located in the park across the road from the attraction. Due to the nature of the venue, we are unable to permit entry to assistance dogs in training. Please note there are loud noises, mist effects and smells (nothing nasty!) that may be confusing for assistance animals. Assistance dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Why is it called Wake The Tiger?

The name was inspired by the book ‘Waking The Tiger’ by Peter Levine. It explores themes of trauma and transformation. It is about awakening that fierce, powerful part within ourselves to drive change. The vision behind it is beautifully symbolic; on one side, a strong and fierce animal, and on the other, a playful, cuddly cub. Wake The Tiger represents the balance between these two – fierce yet playful, powerful yet approachable.
