Production Coordinator

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Production Coordinator to oversee the production activity on site. This role involves working within the Creative Department coordinating the production of ongoing creative development of the park alongside balancing the regular maintenance that is required to keep all areas of the park and workshop safe, operational and at a high standard of presentation for our visitors at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the whole Creative & Production department to ensure delivery of the creative vision.
  • Managing specific production projects including upgrades and development.
  • Managing the schedule of all works as outlined by the Creative Producer.
  • Capturing Maintenance tasks and assigning tasks to the correct teams.
  • Sourcing & purchasing required materials to ensure all works can be carried out as scheduled.
  • Creation of monthly department rota in liaison with tech team ensuring cover for opening hours and events.
  • Ensure all production elements of the visitor attraction are safe and operational at all times (Scenic, Props & Technical).
  • Coordination and induction of any production / technical contractors working on site.
  • Day to day management of the production expenses, overall responsibility of the budget is with the Creative Producer.
  • Continuous monitoring of the site, ensuring maintenance is carried out and prioritised for both ad-hoc repairs and preventative scheduled work.
  • Ensuring the COSHH register for the site is kept up to date, and COSHH assessments carried out for all hazardous substances used on site.
  • Manage the safe disposal of waste products created by the Production Team.
  • Work alongside the Management team to ensure safe working practices and all supporting H&S documents are in place for all Production activity on site.
  • Creation of project schedules, risk assessments and all other production related administration.
  • Ensure all production equipment is well maintained, and assets recorded.

Skills

ESSENTIAL

  • Experience (3+ years) working in a management capacity in a production based environment.
  • A sound knowledge of production and the creative design process.
  • Experience in managing budgets & proficient in Google Sheets.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good awareness of health and safety relating to production works.
  • Full Clean Driving Licence (personal car use may be required and fuel would be covered in expenses).

DESIRABLE

  • Interest in location based entertainment including immersive experiences, theme parks, theatre.
  • Health & Safety Qualification (Iosh/NeBosh)
