The Role
As the Box Office Supervisor at Wake The Tiger, you will oversee daily operations of the box office space, ensuring a smooth and efficient ticketing process that enhances the visitor experience. You will mentor and train a small team of box office staff, handle customer inquiries in person and via our customer service email inbox, working closely with other colleagues to optimise sales and visitor flow. You will play a critical role in ensuring our visitors have a seamless and enjoyable visit from the moment they purchase their tickets.Responsibilities
● Overseeing daily operations in Box Office
● Assisting with customer service enquiries in person and online
● Ensuring the space is always clean and tidy
● Upselling guidebooks, tickets and memberships to meet sales targets
● Staff training
● Cash handling
● Any other reasonable duties
Skills
Essential
● Energy, enthusiasm, and great customer service
● Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
● Ability to pick up using new systems quickly
● Attention to detail
● Cash handling experience
● Excellent time management and organisational skills
● Fantastic communication skills
● Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Desirable
● Experience in a supervisory role
● Proficient in Microsoft Office & Google, and specifically Excel / Google Spreadsheets
● Till software experience
● First aid trained
